Cripps Pink

Cripps Pink has a sweet-tart taste and firm crisp flesh. Skin is a pink blush over yellow.

Cripps Pink is great for both eating out of hand and cooking. Snackers and bakers give this variety high marks. Crisp fall nights bring on the bright pink color that gives the apples its name.

It was introduced into the market in 1985 in Australia. It is a cross between Golden Delicious and Lady Williams.

Usage: Great for cooking and eating fresh.
