Rome

Rome is the baker's buddy. It has a smooth blazingly bright red skin with sweet, slightly juicy flesh. It was discovered in Rome, Ohio in 1820.

Usage: Primarily a cooking apple, it's flavor grows richer when baked or sauteed.
